Last Tuesday night, July 26, Gary joined guest host Lachlan Mc Pherson from HUBB Financial on Sky Business Channel’s ‘Your Money Your Call’
The pair discussed the recent oversold condition in our equity markets as well as participant indecision and the likely direction and trading range of the market in the medium term.
Lachlan and Gary also spoke about the somewhat incorrect notion some investors have in regard to dividends yield whilst holding onto a capital loss. A great topic of conversation.
Callers were interested in discussing with Gary Gold and Silver stocks Newcrest Mining (NCM) and Alcyone Resources (AYN) respectively.
Other stocks dissected were, Integra Mining (IGR), Tiger Resources (TGS), Santos (STO), Discovery Metals (DML), South Boulder Mines (STB), MacMahon Holdings (MAH), Credit Corp (CCP), Bluescope Steel (BSL), Forge Group (FGE), Unity Mining (UML), and Aurora Oil & Gas (AUT)
Of particular note were stocks Atlas Iron Limited (AGO), which Gary called as a ‘BUY’ on the show around September last year at around the 2.20 level. The stock is a current long Share Wealth Systems SPA3 signal and currently trading at approximately 4.014 as of July 27, 2011
Gary’s love hate relationship with Telstra (TLS) continued and was also hotly discussed. It too (to my surprise), is also an open Share Wealth Systems SPA3 medium term trade.
A quick trip back to Melbourne for Gary before returning to Sydney for a Sky News Special ‘Grow Your Business’ on Saturday 30th July 2011 at 8:30 PM. Followed by another ‘Your Money Your Call’ on Wednesday 3rd August 2011 at 8:00 PM.
